Elswick lets you inside a man's mind...again...as he regrettably anticpates hearing that ONE horrific word from his girlfriend.

Extended description

What is the one four-letter word that men cannot stand to hear uttered from any woman's mouth? Think you know? The Word, revealed at the end of this short ebook/story, is a common word, but nobody can ever come close to guessing it.

Can you?

Elswick lets you inside a man's mind...again...as he regrettably anticpates hearing that ONE horrific word from his girlfriend. Like every man can attest, it is approaching as sure as darkness will fall on a steamy July day in Arizona. The only questions are when will this word be hurled and how often.

Great ending but the process of getting there was rather painful. Exaggeration takes you a certain way with writing humour but it can't be the only technique employed. The other grating point was the American clichéd approach to dating... its so common!

Very enjoyable, straight-forward, little story. I hadn't really thought about it before. It's so true. Any man who has female friends can relate to this. :)

This short story is one of my favorites... It's a funny story for fun people!! When I read this story, I can almost hear the thoughts in Mark's head. I can also hear the seconds hand on the clock ticking away every agonizing second as it goes by for him. I've learned a very important lesson from this story... Men like short answers, preferably just yes or no! hahaha :) I give it 5 STARS!! Great job, Mark Elswick!
