A murder/mystery with a little paranormal thrown in that was a revisit to East/ North East Texas for me when PI Buck McDivit goes to visit his Aunt Emma in the heat and humidity and rain typical of that area. Having grown up near a chain of lakes it took me back to those days on and by the water with Eric's painting of words. Another excellent book by Eric!
