About J. Sakalauskas

The author is married and lives with his wife, son and invalid daughter in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He has had a twenty-three career in the military, thirteen years as a business owner and five years in airport security. Now retired, he can indulge in a passion he has long desired. He does not consider himself a writer but has written a number of short stories and finds it much more challenging than doing crossword puzzles. His favorite books would involve history, with the Roman Empire at the top of the list. His secret ambition is to go to Italy and ride a chariot. He thoroughly enjoys “Masterpiece Theatre,” with stories from the eighteenth and nineteenth century.
