I have read many books but have yet to find one that left me in such a tearful way. The book is about a man that believes in true love at its finest and made a promise to find his. The courage, strength and will power of one man will take you for a ride you could never imagine. Thought and emotional provoking within yourself as you read this book. No real twists or turns but deffinite ending that will leave you begging for some thing more. I truly loved this book and will be looking for more from this author.

From first glance, this book reads as a love story that is at first sight, deep and life-changing, but upon further investigation the heart of this book is a matter of debate - reincarnation. First, let me express that I wasn't quite sure about this whole reincarnation thing as I was brought up that beyond your one life that you live there are two options - Heaven and Hell. Now that I studied religion in a school setting and I hold a minor in the study of religion - I respect the idea of reincarnation, but I still adhere to the one life that I live, now the after that one life I am still debating.

Now that you all know my thoughts on this aspect of the book which is the heart of it. I still enjoyed the book because I read it as a sweet love story that is so moving that I felt for these characters that they found each other and would eventually have to part from one another. Of course the language of the book, referenced that they would see each other again - take what you would like, but I was able to enjoy this book despite not completing believing in the reincarnation thought.

A love story that is endearing and makes you enjoy the thought that true love exists and can sneak up on you around any corner.

One of the many theories of reincarnation holds that your soul travels through lifetimes in company with others and in each life the souls have an affinity that draws them together. In Across Eternity, author Aris Whittier tells the tale of Logan and Amber whom have been lover’s through the ages. By what is perhaps divine design, Logan Richards remembers his history with his soul mate and searches the world until he finds her. What follows is a searingly romantic story of fated love and bittersweet destiny.
Across Eternity is a tender love story with touches of humor and poignant drama. With pretty, though sometimes cloying, prose the tale of eternal and unconditional love between Logan and Amber unfurls slowly like a budding rose in the warmth of the day (sorry, couldn’t resist). It’s an almost achingly sweet tale, relying as it does on the romantic cliches of love at first sight and destined soul mates but Whittier is so committed to the story that her sincerity shines through. I admit to being swept away a little in the ideal, eager for Amber to trust in her instincts and accept Logan. Their connection awakens my teenage dreams of being completed by a perfect love. Not that Logan nor Amber are quite perfect themselves, both have experienced adversity and the development of their relationship is not exactly smooth. Inevitably however just as the pair are contented with each other the fickle hand of fate threatens to physically part them too soon.
Ideal for starry eyed fans of romance, Across Eternity is the type of novel you read to rekindle your belief in true love, perhaps with some chocolate and and a few tissues by your side.
