A lot of authors don't hit their stride in their debut book. Not so with Anita Miller. She hits her stride on page one and never lets up. My kids and I can't wait for a second book!

Earthling Hero is a fast-paced middle-grade adventure that grabs you on page one and won’t let go until the highly satisfying, cliffhanging conclusion! There is so much to enjoy, from fun and quirky devices to unpredictable, gut-wrenching scenes (Chinese assassins, anyone?) to a little homemade alien cuisine – all with laughs sprinkled throughout. I highly recommend Earthling Hero for people of all ages, including their alien clones.

I thoroughly enjoyed Anita’s book. I thought it was smart and funny, with a male middle grade protagonist that smart boys can identify with.
I like the personal touches that shout Anita to me, like the tortilla making scene. I thought that bad guys were the right combination of threatening and bumbling that enable the good folks to prevail.
Anita is a good author with solid prose and a great grasp of characterization. I hope she continues to publish or epublish her books so I can keep up with her.

Whether you're young or old, single or married with thirty-seven little kids, EARTHLING HERO will grab you on page one and make for an easy adventure with thought-provoking moments. The descriptions of southern Colorado are vivid and enticing, especially the NORAD parts.
