Review of Following Destiny
When Andrea Duncan's grandmother dies, Andrea inherits much more than just her big gloomy house, that looked like something out of Gone With the Wind, she gets a ring that flashes lights and talks to her from the past. Just what she needed…unwelcome kinds of related ghosts.
Mason Keeler is the local Sheriff and quite a hunk, according to Andrea's heartbeats at least. He's been a friend to her grandmother and wonders why Andrea never had time to viist her or come to the funeral.
Therein lies part of the mystery to this well written classic paranormal by Rebecca J. Vickery. So many questions cloud Andrea's head as her and the Sheriff get to know one another. Before long, there's a murder in town, and the Sheiff is duty bound to protect the new lady in town. He even goes all out and brings her a dog named Heidi. Frankly Heidi steals the show. She bring laughters when things get too serious or cold blodded, as Andrea is part of a serial killer's hunt.
With a small town flavor, a touch or paranormal and a romance to die for, Following Destiny get a 5 star rating from me for having all the right ingredienets to a great read by the fire. So pop some popcorn, get the hot chocolate ready, because Following Destiny will have you glued to see what happens next in this fast paced, sexy thriller. And Heidi will steal your heart. A definite must read by an author who continues to woo and thrill her readers, with all the right touches, don't miss, Following Destiny by Rebecca J. Vickery.
