This is an amazing book about the Kendo taught by Junichi Haga (1908 - 1966). The kendo it describes is not mainstream with its emphasis on Tski as an opening attack , and the use of one handed yoko men strikes for example.
It reminds us all that Kendo was born from real sword fights

I recomend you chck this video of Junichi Haga performing Iai : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7cGxipO_IA
