Hello, my name is Eve, a Canadian mom who works full time as an author. In between juggling my three kids, hubby, and housework, I pen steamy romance--usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens lol. I love to write, and while I don't always know what my mind is going to come up with next, I can promise it will be fun, probably humorous and most of all romantic, because I love a HEA.

Thanks so much for coming by and checking me out. If you'd like to know more, read some excerpts or find out what's coming next, then please visit me at http://www.EveLanglais.com

The Geek Job by Eve Langlais
Lexie, short for Lexington, just accepted a job to guard a geek and do whatever to stay close to him. Fredrick, a vampire, wanted his precious geek scientist to stay safe while he went to his convention. Anthony Savell was working on a serum that would allow Fredrick to see the light of day after hundreds of years in the darkness of night. There were many enemies who wanted to kill the scientist before this would happen.

Lexie was use to doing whatever she had to do to guard someone. If she got her scratch itched so be it. She was just a bit surprised when she met Anthony and her wolf reacted oddly as well, like she wanted him. She is able to get close to him through the week-end but Lexie is bothered that she is so drawn to this giant of a geek. To the point that she felt good-byes would not be easy. But a rough and tough werewolf could not keep a human as a mate...it never ended well. Can there be a happy ending for this dominating female wolf and a giant of a geek? Or will they end up back in their lonely lives?

Great story line. And she brings out the characters personalities really well.

**Strong sexual situations and language.

4.5 Stars!

I absolutely loved this book! Personal bodyguard and werewolf, Lexie is hired to protect a human science geek, during a conference, who's research on DNA may hold the key to curing vampirism. She fights to keep him safe, while also fighting her growing attraction to him.

The story moves quickly. Their chemistry sizzles! This is a very delightful paranormal romance read. Highly recommended story... one I'll definitely read again.

This was a rather fun book with some hot sex. I liked both characters for different reasons. I’m a pretty big fan of kick-ass heroines – a description that fits Lexie perfectly – and I loved Anthony.

I really enjoyed watching Anthony slowly gain confidence in himself and his powers of attraction and I enjoyed the relationship that developed between Lexie and Anthony. What I absolutely hated – while still enjoying Lexie as the science slut - was the deception that the relationship started with. I felt that Lexie should have told Anthony that he was in danger and that she was there to protect him. Lexie should have also had to do a little more groveling. If a man had perpetuated the same deception that Lexie did, it would have been handled as a bigger transgression.

The ending felt a tad contrived while still being somewhat believable. All in all, it was a short but fun read.

I think it’s safe to call me a fan of Eve Langlais. I own a decent amount of her work and – even though she originally annoyed the crap out of me by writing such short novellas that her characters and/or stories would never develop to full potential – have plans to buy much more. I can certainly say that the length of her books seem to slowly get longer while the voice that originally intrigued me has stayed fresh. :)

With that being said, the book is cute, a little funny, kinda sexy and I think you should read it – if you like erotic romance, that is. ;)

Four stars, rounded up from three and a ½!

Excellent book. This is the second book by this author that I have read and I am very impressed. I have a rather large collection of erotica and this book is definitely a Kindle Keeper. I loved how she wrote the heroine in this book as well as the transformation of our hero. Thanks, Eve, look forward to reading more of your books.

I enjoyed the story line and the strong heroine. I would definitely consider reading more books by this author. There was lots of action for those of you who like that in books.
