When al-Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf hijack three supertankers carrying highly explosive liquefied natural gas (LNG) to use as massive weapons of mass destruction, he brings his team of Homeland Security operatives to the Pacific to stop them.

Teaming up with Indian marines (MARCOS), who specialize in combating modern-day pirates, they try to intercept the three ships before reaching their targets.

Each ship carries 30-million gallons of LNG and has the explosive power of more than 50 atomic bombs such as those dropped on Japan during World War II.

The operatives are too late to stop the first ship and Sydney, Australis is literally vaporized. They manage to sink the second ship before it reaches Japan.
