Short description

An erotic fairytale from the USA Today bestselling author of Devil at Midnight. Can two wounded lovers save their kingdoms and themselves? "I am utterly insane for Emma Holly" - NYT bestseller Jacquelyn Frank

Extended description

Enter the magical kingdom of Madrigar, where handsome Prince Augustin has been robbed of his heart by a cruel fairy. Blessed by a kinder member of the fae with an “untiring” sword, he’s learned such gifts present challenges ... and that missing hearts are no light burden to bear.

Plucky Princess Violet likewise suffers under a spell, fated to burn forever with desires no common lover can satisfy. She seeks a champion to save her people and herself from the clutches of a lovesick werewolf.

Prince Augustin appears to be Violet’s knight. The sparks they strike off each other are as hot as a blacksmith’s forge. Alas, these wounded lovers must do more than fall in bed. The survival of both their kingdoms depends on them losing their enchanted hearts to each other ...

I love when Emma goes into other genre of writing. Her historical romances are just as hot as the Otherworld and vampire novels. Keep writing Emma....we will read them all!

Loved the story and Emma Holly is always a phenom when it comes to writing something with sexual grit. Did he really have no heart? Read and find out.

This was my first Emma Holly (I read an enthusiastic recommendation on a blog) and my first erotic romance and while it wasn't my thing it was still interesting and I'd try more from the author. My 3 stars is based is a limited experience review, so if it sounds like your thing you'll probably like it more than me
