Terrific job for a new author. I am positive Jason Tesar will become one of my new favorite authors! With his wonderful imagination and talent for storytelling, he is sure to be a bestselling homerun! With this book superbly following Book 1 I can't wait to read Book 3!! I keep looking for books to lose myself in and hold my interest till the end and with Kael, Jason's books do just that.

Book 2 was even more exciting than the first book in the series. The author brought the reader almost seamlessly from one chapter to the next, all the while changing characters and scenes to keep the story moving. In this book, the characters are more fully developed as past secrets are revealed. The plot builds until the explosive ending when Kael is almost reunited with his mother.
I absolutely cannot wait to read Book 3 to see what happens next. For a fledgling writer, Jason Tesar has a talent which needs to be further explored and shared. I haven't enjoyed reading this much in a very long time!!

Book 2 takes right off where the first left off, but it picks up the pace. I liked the focus on action followed by flashbacks to fill in the details. It is keeping me on the edge of my seat. It does jump around, but I enjoyed that. It’s not just another typical storyline. As the plot thickens some of the questions are left to be answered in the future. This is definitely keeping my interest. Some plot twists might be anticipated, but still hit with a greater impact and I find them more surprising. It is keeping me guessing and looking forward to the next one.
