Although I thoroughly enjoyed this series, I do have a problem with the events that Kael's father, Adair experienced after his arrival in what is supposed to be our present world. More than twenty years elapsed in the Orudan Empire; enough time for Kael to mature into the warrior that he became, and for Maeryn to have a daughter who grew up, married and became pregnant. Was Adair held in detention this entire time and interrogated for that long? It is a real stretch for me to believe that nothing else happened to him. For a first work, Jason Tesar has done a remarkable job, however it is my feeling that he could use a really good proofreader. I noted numerous mistakes throughout the series. One in particular is the use of the word "peak" for what should have been "pique". Apparently this was pointed out to him since it was corrected in book three.

The more Jason writes, the better he gets! Book 3 was even more exciting than the two previous books. More mysteries are revealed and the battles that ensue are action-packed as the dark vs. light, good vs. evil fight is on. The reader feels "vindicated" once the outcome of the final battle comes to light.

It appears that South America will be the next venue for this saga and I can't wait for Book 4 to be published.

To the point, to the blade, everybody gets what’s coming to them in book 3. There are twists and surprises to keep you guessing and still will leave most satisfied with the ending. Yet, the ending is just the beginning of round 2. I can’t wait to read what comes next. Keep writing Jason!

Really was looking forward to book three to wrap up all the loose ends. I couldn't stop reading until the very end. Was a very good read with great action and suspense all the way through. Of course, there are a couple of dangling threads that can lead to more adventures.
