Short description

The moon is full tonight. And something is going hunting. A short story of teens, werewolves, and a backpacking trip gone terribly wrong. First published in Werewolves, edited by Jane Yolen.

Extended description

When Val Sherwood and her friends went for a hike with the Sunset Hills Ecology Club, they didn't expect to see more than the usual wildlife. But when stories told around the camp fire came true, Val had to find a way to live 'til morning.

The first published work by the award-winning and best-selling team of Debra Doyle and James D. Macdonald, reprinted here for the first time, "Bad Blood" inspired a series of three young-adult horror novels.

my mom bought this book because she knows i like werewolves and vampires. it was ah..ight. i like stuff like twilight and this was not. it was still a good story but no romance. a girl gotta have romance right. still liked it but boys might like it better.
