Stories That Uplift and Inspire is an anthology of Christian short stories designed to encourage and entertain readers. Some stories deal with serious issues such as addictions, recovery and codependency. Others depict the pain involved in life events as giving up a child for adoption, racial prejudice and not knowing a biological parent, while the story “And Mama Never Found Out” is humorous.

It doesn’t take long to realize that life is tough. While some people struggle with drug and alcohol addictions, others battle codependency problems and feelings of low self-esteem. Many people feel the pain and loneliness of being separated or estranged from friends and loved ones.

Hurting parents who grieve over the poor choices of their grown children know that emotional pain can sometimes be even worse than physical pain. This reality is depicted in my short story, “The Lost Wallet”, which I wrote based on a true life event.

This is a delightful collection of stories, Venice! Each one is a reminder of God's presence n our lives, even when we're focused on the trivia or think our problems are insurmountable.

What a beautiful collection of stories!

Some are short historical biographies, some may well be semi-autobiographical, but all are indeed, uplifting and inspiring.

I have been dipping into this on and off whilst typing up some notes for work and almost every story has had the tears welling.

A wonderful addition to any library and just the ticket to remind anyone with doubts that God never gives up.
