This is the third book by Jessa Callaver I have read and I have enjoyed it tremendously.

I can say she succeeded absolutely in marrying the raw & tender with the brazen and subtle.

Jessa Callaver has such a knack for painting vivid and exciting sexuality and then delving into the motives, sensitivities, and vulnerabilities of the characters.(less)

Josie is spending her spring break babysitting for the Sharps, a new family in town. While by all outward appearances the Sharps seem to be the perfect family, up close Josie finds herself in the midst of a cold and distant home. Eventually, Josie finds herself in a difficult situation when she comes between husband and wife.

Family Care lived up to my expectations from this author. The story was steamy, hot, and definitely sexy. The author has such a talent for words. Her writing is vivid and descriptive. She is able to get inside the heads of her characters and she does such a great job of bringing life to her characters.

Family Care is the longest story the author has out to date, and as a result, it is more in depth and more developed than the others. I really enjoyed Family Care and am looking forward to more from Jessa Callaver.

This is a coming of age erotica short that takes a common theme and given it new life. Joise is an 18 yr old senior in high school that takes a job babysitting the kids of a hot couple. She finds herself romantically involved with the sexy Mr. Sharp and manages to get herself pulled into the issues of the couple. Josie does a lot of growing up in those two weeks she stays with them in more ways than just sexually. The author does a great job of bringing to life great characters and putting them in some very hot situations. This being not only the first of her ebooks, its also a bit longer than the others. The story is therefore a bit more indepth than the others and the storyline is more developed. The Evan and Celia reveal and face their problems with Josie's help and they have a lot of mixed emotions to work thru. This is a great romantic short for those over 18.

While this is a story premise I've seen a lot of, I thought the author did a really good job of making it fresh, mainly by giving the characters and the situations more depth. It's as much a coming of age story as it is erotica, and while there are definitely lots of steamy sex scenes, there's also an ending that makes it feel a lot more about how all three of the main characters figure out what's missing in their lives. The main character is really likable, and the couple she babysits for is really sympathetic too...you really want their marriage to work, which to me, added a lot to the overall story. Well written and executed, and actually almost a novellette, rather than a short story.

Jesaa, has taken an age old fantasy, shaging the babysitter, and given it a breath of fresh life in this short story. Great chartacters and beleivable scenario’s too. Well worth reading and I shall look forward to her next story with great anticipation.

The interacation of the three main characters is excellent with the tension building at a good and steady pace until the inevitable occurs. A reasonable rounding off to the situation at the end of the book leaves the reader feeling satisfgied that all is well with the world. Highly recomended.

This is definitely fun reading. The erotica may be the main draw, but it's a good coming of age story and the author enjoys exploring the inner world of the main character. Also is a commentary on what society considers the formula for a good marital relationship and what, though would be frowned upon by many, ends up being a catalyst for growth and understanding. I look forward to more of what Jessa Callaver has to offer.

Great story with characters that are easy to relate to. There are times when the text could be tighter, but I'm looking forward to more from this author. (Jessa - If you like to exchange some chapters and critique each others work, give me a holler at gillian@blackdoorpress.com)

Good story with each erotic scene hotter than the last. Good realistic character development and compelling story. This author definitely has some strong potential. The story could be a bit more concise occasionally providing too much detail about aspects not important to moving the story along (e.g., Wylie, redundancies in character's thinking, etc.) but overall I'd recommend this story and watch for more from this artist.
