Good short story. A nice quick horror, with a dark twisted ending. Very well written (there may have been some minor mistakes in the text but as these did not effect the story one bit I do not see a problem here or any reason for anyone to mark it down because of this) with a dark and mysterious kid called grub and his sinister strange life.

It took me a moment at the end of the book to get what had happened. When it hit me, it was a great ending. The story itself was well written, if with a few too many comparisons used to describe things. However, I wanted a bit more of an explanation as to how the main character, Grub, lured in Kady. This was left vague, perhaps on purpose, and I would have liked to know more about that part.

There were a few minor errors, and this combined with the overuse of comparisons got it four stars.

I agree with David. Said ending made me exclaim aloud, "Oh that's effed up!" Good writing!

Good reading, built up of suspense and a quirky, brutal ending. I was a bit thrown off by "tyre" in place of "tire" but that's ok - adds to the quirk. :p
