About Meb Bryant

Being a voracious reader and coupled with a complusion to write, Meb Bryant felt challenged to write a provoking mystery where the reader becomes involved in a game of whodunit. Born in Houston, Texas, Meb attended fifteen schools throughout the United States by the age of ten. Her nomadic childhood was especially enriched with experiences and memories living in the Louisiana region.
In addition to being a longtime business owner with her husband, she enjoys tennis, fishing and cruising . The couple reside in Texas with a Yorkshire terrier and unruly chickens, including Teensy, the novel's delinquent rooster.

From the opening murder scene of a privileged member of New Orleans aristocracy the reader is hooked. Nothing makes sense. The only suspect the police have is a young black woman who was found beside the body naked, tied up, drugged and beaten! The reader is led a merry chase through unexpected twists and turns as Ms. Bryant takes elements of real news stories from our country’s history and masterly weaves them into the murder mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Excellent. It reads like a cozy, except it's hotter. If you love a good murder mystery and you don't mind the adult nature of the book, it's a great read!

I bought this book after it was recommended by a friend. And now that I've read it, I'm the one doing the recommending. It's a must-read for anyone who loves a good plot that's different from the rest. The first few chapters really sucked me in. This books has it all-murder, sex and conspiracy. A great summer read.
