A Chilean archeologist finds a strange item on Easter Island. He calls in an expert who discovers it to be a device from another world. The device leads them to a library where they discover the history of the Yubarrians who came to Earth thousands of years ago. As they discover this new alien culture they see the ugliness of their own world and long to go see the world of Yubarri which holds an intellect, beauty, and technology far more advanced than Earth
