This was a very fun short story! I normally get frustrated with short stories...they're too short! While I would have loved for this to be a full-length novel, it worked out perfectly for my very busy schedule. Amy and Reed have great chemistry together. I think the tension and obstacles could have been expanded, but was really well written so it didn't seem too easily resolved. Overall, a very fun read and also very clean. I love Donna Hatch and will buy anything she writes. I like that she is able to keep her books clean, but still has tons of romance and romantic tension. When I saw this short story was available I bought it instantly! I can't wait for her to write more books! =)

Constant Hearts is the first ebook I've ever read. (Okay, I'm scared of electronics.) I found Donna Hatch's work delightful. (And by the way, I was looking for the little mistakes.) I found the characters engaging for a short story. The language felt true to the period, engrossing me in the Regency time period. This short read has rekindled my faith in clean Regency Romance. Thank you Donna.

Donna Hatch has done it again! "Constant Hearts" is a beautifully written Regency romance novelette. Donna is a master of clean romances that are nevertheless filled with heart-pulling emotion and passion. A wonderful read!

If you long for a tale of true romance, unsullied by masses of heavy breathing and graphic sex, this is the book for you. Ms. Hatch credits her inspiration for this novella to Jane Austen, and that's what you get. A charmingly romantic story of star-crossed lovers, torn apart years earlier, and now reunited with even greater impediments. She—oh horrors!—is divorced, and he is so hurt by her earlier rejection that he plots vengeance. I thoroughly enjoyed this all-too-short read and heartily recommend it to those who like their love stories framed in the rosy glow of classic romance.

Ms. Hatch does an excellent job of handling the description. She creates the mood/tone by depending on specific details and concrete language. This is a quick, satisfying read.
