This book isn't going to provide you with enough information to do your own home inspections, but it should have enough information to prevent you from purchasing the money pit.

I was taken advantage of on my first home purchase at 21 years old by an unscrupulous real estate salesman and it cost me dearly. This one purchase, forced me into financial bondage and it's a lesson that I'll never forget.

The years I've spent working as a general contractor on some of these nightmares, has inspired me to do something about it. I'm tired of standing by and watching unsuspecting innocent hard-working people, getting taken advantage of.

If you could just learn a few things from this book, it will be well worth the money you've spent.
