I give this story such a low rating because it's not so much a story told as it is a presenting of information. There was no mystery or anything, everything was more or less laid out for you with very little build-up and no payoff.

I found this to be a very intriguing short story. The interactions between the characters do well to advance the plot and highlight the dark secrets between them. The only thing I did not like was that it was so short. I would have liked to see the confrontation between Mr. Smith and Mrs. X be a little longer, as it was quite intense and enjoyable.

I found this a rather simple read without much substance. I appreciate it was only a quick read but I had read it within about 10 minutes so there was not much time for the book to instil any interest in the reader. The grammar and spelling was somewhat poor, and needs further proof reading.
