While I do not have the same depth of familiarity with Hollywood Forever as I do with the Forest Lawn properties, I have been a follower of the park and it's progress over many years. I was heartbroken at the dilapidated condition it had fallen into and watching the work that Tyler Cassity and his staff have done to rescue the cemetery has been so very thrilling. They have made it a place of peace and beauty once again deserving of the many Hollywood stars that made it their final home. Mark's book is an excellent guide to the many, many, MANY points of interest at Hollywood Forever. I recommend it wholeheartedly to devoted fans of departed Hollywood such as myself.
