Not sure about the title. A strange little book of contrasts. On the one hand a vivid and lively sense of an altogether different life, and I would have liked a lot more detail. Coupled with a list of deaths or near-death accidents that reads like a horror movie - fire, snakes, wagons, trains - it's a lethal world out there, one I could do with less. And what about this: 'I do not wish to write what I saw one day when I went for the milk, but I will never forget it.' Eh?

This is such an interesting biography. Most would say yes it could use alot of proof reading but then it would not be the same. This is in her own writing and that makes the story all the better. Beautiful memories.
