Laramie Wyoming can't seem to stay out of trouble. Or ahead of it, for that matter. Laramie, his parents, little sister Cheyenne, foster brother Prentiss Williams, and his loyal black lab Maestro, are now in Yorktown, Virginia. They had a close call in Colonial Williamsburg, but at least the men chasing them have been arrested. Laramie and Prentiss are in the clear! The bank robbery is ancient history.

But is it? Even though the two thugs who chased them all the way from Laramie, Wyoming, to Williamsburg, Virginia, are out of the picture, someone is still stalking the boys. That someone will stop at nothing to find them and get whatever it is Laramie and Prentiss have that the bad guys want.

Laramie's best friend, Jake Pickens, and his parents have arrived in Yorktown to spend some vacation time with Laramie's family.
