Short description

Death is sad, love is agony. Max was her next job. She got his name just before he died and it was for her to lead his soul to heaven. She was a Bringer. Bringers do not have emotions. Yet the arrival of James, Max's son, at his father's death bed shook her whole existence because she was soon to fall in love against all the laws of nature. For a Bringer, that is a terrifying fall.

A superbly sustained first person narrative that grips the reader and keeps him spellbound until the very last line. Samantha Towle is a born story-teller and has produced an unusual and beautifully written debut novel that you will not be able to put down.

The first person writing is splendid and the the theme is something appealing. The Bringer will not betray in bringing the literary bliss to the readers. Sam Towle, you've done it. Good luck.

Recommended.

An excellent new book from Ms Towle; the interesting premise caught my attention first, and I became progressively more pleased that it had as I read onwards.

A beautiful story, beautifully written; I'd strongly suggest getting your copy on smashwords now - I can't see a writer of this talent being available for 'free' on any format for long.

The bringer has been written in a way that truly grips the reader from the first word. Even the title calls for the novel to be read. Excellent.
