Mortal Ghost is a soul-searching story of mystery, drama, love and adventure that will keep you turning page after page after page until the end comes looming up at you and you realize there needs to be more. Perhaps there will be, but for now, the author leaves us with a satisfying ending that weaves its way into our minds and hearts and lets us know this author knows how to tell a story.

A sensitive, well-written novel. However, I had the feeling that author was trying to cram too much into the book, and the lab and computer really didn't flow well with the rest of the story.

A careful and involved story. I would have preferred a different ending, though.

I really liked this book. The characters were well rounded, the story fast paced and the plot very unique. I thought that there were a snags in the story, such as the part about Red, that I had trouble plowing through but in the end the author tied it together neatly. Something very odd about that boy Jesse. Thanks for sharing your book with us.

Very engaging "troubled teen" story. Some of the scene transitions are a bit choppy, but the story is compelling and the book is hard to put down. The work may need a bit of polishing in spots, but the author is on the right track. Don't read it if you aren't prepared for teen angst.

I quite enjoyed this book. As a writer and an obsessed reader, I am always on the lookout for something new, fresh, and edgy. I found all of the above with Mortal Ghost. This book contains a type of magic the likes of which I have never seen before. I think the author should deffinatly look into a series on this one.

Although the book is categorized as YA, it is a book for anyone who likes fine writing and an interesting plot. I'm only halfway through Mortal Ghost and can't wait to get back to it. I hope this author turns this into a series.

I absolutely loved this book. The characters were all immensely likable, although I feel like this book could have been stretched out into at least two books. There seemed to be events missing in between scene changes and you never truly find out where the main character, Jesse, came from, even though his past is teased about quite a bit. Still, this came with a surprise ending, and I found I could not put it down until I reached the conclusion.

This was a very interesting book with a lot of twists and turns. Some of the magic was difficult to follow. it did become clear later but I did not like the ending
