Life after Death...
Heaven and Hell...
Murder. For Rory Dart – wealthy, famous, and much revered – it was over in seconds. He collapsed to the ground in a short hail of automatic fire delivered in the midday heat.
Those bullets wiped him off the face of this world, but they quickly transported him into the next, where he found himself within the darkest plane of all – somewhere to be avoided at all costs. Known as Level Zero, it is the very lowest region of the afterlife: a place populated by tyrants, murderers, madmen, desperados, and vile, toothless hags.
Years later, Charlie, a friend of Rory’s when on the earth plane, passes over into the afterlife. Yet in direct contrast to Rory, Charlie arrives into a world of blinding loveliness, serenity, and harmony.
But he soon finds out that such bliss comes at a price. Rory needs help to escape from Level Zero, where he’s been trapped against his will for quarter of a century. Charlie is asked by the rulers of his sunny realm to descend into the depths of darkness, battle the elements and demons therein, and deliver Rory from what earthly humanity refers to as Hell.
Which is when the ‘fun’ begins: or, put another way, when the mother of all nightmares takes over.
Scientific evidence for the existence of the afterlife is overwhelming – though not necessarily as depicted in the traditional religious scrolls. It speaks of a parallel world very close to the earth plane that contains the best – and the worst – of everything.
