In Hell, everyone is assigned their own demon caseworker. His job is to make sure you're as unhappy as possible and Hell lives up to its reputation. Much to my caseworker’s disappointment, after living through my sister's death, none of the levels of Hell they created for me had the desired effect. I was not disappointed with this purchase! After having read the author's Justice novels, I knew the writing would be well done. What I didn't know was that the author's take on Hell and redemption would be so completely fun to read.

Misery is a delightful and captivating YA novel. If I ever set my Nook down for any length of time two of my teens have stated they would like to read it just from me carrying on a play by play as I read. I think even my 16 year old son would like this one if I find some horrible torture like brussel sprouts to threaten him away from video games for a couple hours.
