I was not disappointed with this purchase! After having read the author's Justice novels, I knew the writing would be well done. What I didn't know was that the author's take on Hell and redemption would be so completely fun to read.

Misery is a delightful and captivating YA novel. If I ever set my Nook down for any length of time two of my teens have stated they would like to read it just from me carrying on a play by play as I read. I think even my 16 year old son would like this one if I find some horrible torture like brussel sprouts to threaten him away from video games for a couple hours.
