All I can say is that any time a story about negotiating a severance package can be this interesting, you know the writer is well worth reading! Moved into a science fiction setting, J.A. Marlow creates a great story about the perils of downsizing, robotics and revenge of a working class woman.

To me, it was the best from J.A. Marlow yet. The situation is familiar to many today -- layoffs aren't pretty. But the way the main character gets the better of her employer is satisfying from the first letter to the last.
