The blindfold let very little light through, the darkness almost complete.

I heard the creak of the window being opened and felt a cool breeze over my naked body. My nipples immediately reacted to the sensation, becoming rock hard. The scent of freshly blooming lilacs invaded my nostrils.

There was the soft padding of bare feet on carpet. A moment later, soft and sensuous jazz music enveloped me, emanating from our surround-sound speakers.

The smells, the feel of cool air, the sounds not only became heightened due to my blocked vision, but they also added an extra element of anticipation. I could no longer hear what Cal was doing. When would I feel his touch? Where was he? Was he standing right next to me, watching me, savoring the sight of his naked wife waiting for him on the bed?

Suddenly, his hands were in my hair, massaging my scalp. I giggled. “I was wondering where you were,” I said.

“Right,” I said.

He kissed my ear, then my lips, his tongue darting briefly into my mouth. His lips moved to my chin and down my neck. He kissed me lightly as he moved slowly down my body.
