Billy and Tilly are two young ants that are discussing the benefits of knowing how to read.

Boys and girls can both learn. If you know how to read, you can learn anything that there is to learn. You can learn about dogs and cats and how to take care of them. You can learn about all different kinds of birds. You can learn about tropical fish and how to take care of them.

You can even learn how to cook, how to bake how to sew or even how to make your own clothes. You need to be able to read a recipe in order to cook. Boys can learn how to fix things or how to build things. The list of things to learn is endless.

You can even read for fun.
