Short description
T. M. Simmons chased down rumors of ghosts for over twenty years and kept diaries of the intriguing adventures, including both the fun and scary parts. She also chronicled when paranormal entities were definitely not your Casper-variety beings. Encouraged by friends, she is publishing a few of her diaries as preludes to each upcoming Dead Man paranormal mystery. These stories are true.
This collection of ghost hunting diaries is a selection from those T. M. Simmons kept during her twenty years of adventures in the paranormal world. As a writer, she felt compelled to keep records of the encounters, and up until now, she has only shared these with a few friends and relatives. Encouraged by their interest, and the awe and sometimes apprehension on their faces, she is editing some of the dozens upon dozens of diaries in her files. Volume I contains Down the Ghost Trail, which chronicles the start of T. M. Simmons’ ghost hunting career at the haunted Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana. Crossing Over explains how she learned to help lost souls cross into The Light. These stories are true, and will be offered as preludes to each book of the upcoming fictional Dead Man mystery series. Dead Man Talking, which should be available as an ebook within a few days of this first volume, will be a fun, scary romp in the paranormal world. Part of the first chapter is included at the end.

After reading this book, I was intrigued with the ammount of information and experience provided within the Diary. Most of which I read was a little less believable than other encounters, but still, I was drawn into the moment of the investigation. Most of the hauntings within the diary do tie in with other investigations to the same locations within other journals/diaries. Regardless of the truthfulness of some of them, I find this Diary an easy read, and it does draw you into the moment as if you were there witnessing it for your own eyes. Can't wait to start Volume 2
