About Amber Ivers

I am a wife and a mother of five. I currently live in Arkansas. I have always enjoyed writing when I was a child. I would take my nightmares and make them into stories for my friends. But when one of my friends stole one of my stories, to use as their own, I stopped writing. It hurt me a lot and felt betrayed. It took a long time for me to even start writing again. When I did, I shocked myself into writing a novel.
I had a dream that kept coming back, so I took the opportunity to show my kids that they can do whatever they want, all they have to do is try. That is how Discovery was born.

I loved this book. It was a perfect balance between the different genres it encompasses, romance, sci fi, a bit of medievil action, that was perfectly paced. I found myself really, after about the fifth chapter, really wondering and trying to guess what was going on, what had happened and what was going to happen. Everyone should definitely get this book.
