I was totally enthralled with this well written book .I felt that I was there the details were so vivid and all the character's were well developed .
Isabeau was a great character a fresh break from the simpering innocents usually associated with historical romance and Simon complimented her well.

Beautiful book. Especially loved the detailed and convincing way the era was created, the book almost felt like a movie playing in my minds eye. With equally awesome characters it is definately one of my favourite recent reads. Thank you :)

I totally agree with the other reviewers who gave this book a 5 star rating. It swept me away. The chemistry bwtn Simon & Isabeau left me breathless. Isabeau is my fav type of heroine; feisty, brave & intelligent.

I love this story. I have an original paperback copy, but I just bought so that I can read it again on my computer, after several years, and savour it along with my morning coffee. It's five stars for certain!
