This is the best of the series, darker, faster paced, nice twists. It suffers much more than the others in needing editing though, which does irritate me as I read since I think the author does a great job of taking me into that universe, but then the grammar/spelling issues take me right out.

Still a terrific book, but short of perfect. Frankly it's a 5 star book but the editing part would drop it, but I also think 4 stars isn't right. So, it's 4.5 stars from me but since we can't do that and it's been a good day (Xmas eve), and so 5 stars it is. :)

Fast pace, lots of harsh realities for the main characters. Not that they didn't have harsh realities in the other novels, but this time they're fugitives, on the run, in a ship with engine trouble, and possibly the cause behind a galactic war. Yeah. They're not having fun, and that of course means Alex--and Evan--are going to cause trouble because it's the only right thing left to do. This is a must read.
