Short description

'Stories … And Poems … In The Moment … ' is exactly that, a series of short stories and verse which explore the world below its surface and which seek to bring out the enlightenment and wisdom of those who wander its pathways with the realisation that, whatever joys and sorrows we encounter, there is always a hopeful future ahead of us.

Extended description

'Stories … And Poems … In The Moment … ' is exactly that, a series of short stories and verse which explore the world below its surface and which seek to bring out the enlightenment and wisdom of those who wander its pathways with the realisation that, whatever joys and sorrows we encounter, there is always a hopeful future ahead of us.

The stories do not have neat endings. They recount the first stages of quests which are infinite but which can only succeed if the first steps are sure.

We hope that you will find these stories and poems as entrancing and insightful as we do, and that you find a little bit of yourself in them along the way. (Read more)

The stories and poems here all have a purpose, that of the traditional fairy tale which helps us understand, and feel where our pain is, where we have gone astray, how to grow, and then take us through the journey to do so by following the characters, vicariously becoming the heroes and heroines we read about. One of the stories nearly made me cry, as I identified with the dragon, and knowing that the author must have too, feeling human vulnerability, as these aren't really stories about dragons as much as ourselves. This book isn't for everyone, for sure, but it has heart, has serious and meaningful goals, because the author actually cares about our transformation as we read along. That's obvious. And it feels good to be cared about by an author in that way, to read what she has written for us, to help us find our way through our emotions, our own unique path.
