About Prudence MacLeod

I live on a small island just off a larger island off the coast of North America where I write romance, sci-fi, and fantasy/adventure for a wider audience.

What's my super power? I'm a storyteller, an entertainer. As you begin to read my words the stress of the day, nay, the stress of everyday, begins to magically fade away. Transported into another world, your worries and troubles are forgotten for a time as you share adventures with me and my friends. My art, my power is as old as humankind, for the magic of the storyteller has ever been with us and it will always be.

Okay, I'll confess, I've been busted. I was accused of once being a life coach and hiding some of those techniques in my books, disguised as adventure.
Guilty as charged. sigh.
I was also accused of lightly touching on a number of taboo subjects in my books, trying to shine a different light on things.
Guilty as charged again.
As a result of these transgressions, I have been labeled an underground writer.
Oh the shame of it all. (Hangs head and moves slowly towards penalty box.)

I am a spiritual seeker, dog trainer, official Reiki Master and Interior designer, who has turned her hand to writing. I am also an avid chess player, not a great one, but an avid one. I bake, I build, I knit, and I tell great stories.

I have roamed far and wide for over sixty years in this realm, and I have seen much; some I wish I had not, and a great deal that I would love to see again. Some days I feel like Bilbo Baggins, for I have been there and come back again.

No, I haven't written a book about my wanderings, at least not yet, but much I have experienced, observed, learned, surmised, or imagined, is woven into the tales I have written.

Folks, if you take the time to write a review for me, please leave me a way to contact you so I can thank you properly. If you prefer to remain anonymous, then let me thank you right now. Thanks!!

Up to this point I had not read any of your scifi/fantasy novels. I am very impressed with how you can write in two separate genres and be great in both of them. This book showed a lot of your knowledge and experiences throughout your life in regards to the UFO/alien phenomenon. It is obvious that you have spent a lot of time pondering the possibilities of what might be outside of our little world. I really enjoyed the light banter and friendship between the characters while still creating a very serious event that was not out of balance with the story. The story is told exceptionally well. I hope others who read this story will see the depth of knowledge that was used to write this novel.

Thank you very much for another excellent story!
