Short description

An enigmatic short story that isn't about vampires, or is it? A young man is denied his chance to dance with a sexy vampire, or is he?

Extended description

This story was inspired by George Michael's version of 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' a beautiful song written by Ewan MacColl back in 1957 and which has been covered by many artists since then. It uses the song title as a door into the story. If you enjoy soul mate romance stories that rely more on atmosphere than graphic details then you might enjoy this little story.

A really nice story that has a dreamy almost spiritual atmosphere about it.

This is a short read, but is beautifully crafted. It's a blend of humour, romance and almost lyrical prose. Well worth downloading and reading.

A short read from one of my favorite authors. This is a very well written story. It begins with humour, but gradually gives way to something deeeper. There is no explicit details, it is left to the reader's imagination to pad out the details. It is very sensual, both in terms of the expressive language and also the atmosphere. I liked it very much, a lovely story, and free, what more to be asked.
