You may be surprised to learn that there is long running “feud” among roof cleaners about how to get those things off your roof, what chemicals to use, what techniques work.

This book is very informative and an easy read for even a female. I really thought the discoloration on my 15 yr old black shingled roof meant that it needed replacing. I was told that the roof only needed to be cleaned. I am now on my way to Home Depot to purchase the correct cleaning solution. And to think I was fixing to use bleach and pressure wash!!! Thank you Mr. Lehr

Great explanations and instructions. I've found out from this book that moss does not have roots as the "master roof cleaner" I hired told me so. Now I know why squirrels like to hang out in my attic as well. Although I'm still not going to climb up and clean my roof myself, next time I will know what questions to ask and what kind of instructions to give to the experts. I bet their jaw is going to hit the pavement when I tell them what kind of chemicals and methods I want them to use and they will not think 'this dummy doesn't know a thing'. And I will definitely ask for proof of insurance which I forgot last time-thank God none of them fell off the roof. Who knew? I assumed they had it, but I found out from this book how important it is to ask for it and see it. Thanks for writing this valuable tool.

Ed, You've made a lyer out of me! Who would have known that I can learn about roof cleaning, chemistry, and animal/rodent behavior all in short e-book! I just had the roof replaced on my house due to discoloration and soft areas. I've been researching how to protect my expensive new roof so that it will last as long as possible.

Thanks for putting things into understandable terms!

I recently read Mr. Lehr's ebook about roof cleaning. While I have a metal roof on my home, I do have a composition roof on my 20 year old carport. My grandson commented a few months ago that there were "spots" on the carport roof. Never would I have thought about all the things that Mr. Lehr said could cause this - that is until I read his E-book. I am very grateful for this information. It will guide me in choosing someone to clean the roof, plus I will appear very knowledgeble when I question the techniques and the chemicals they will be using. Thanks for all the great information!!! S. Hope - Texas
