This is brilliant. Fake Karl is just flawless and this novel just seems effortless. It is both quirky and humorous but I do realise that it may only appeal to certain people who appreciate this tongue-in-cheek humour that almost makes a mockery of the 'higher class.' Nevertheless, Fake Karl does not disappoint and delivers the satire that you definitely need in your life.

As i came to understand, this novel is one of five to be about Glen Gould. Herr Karl Lagerfeld as in Fake Karl is a magician with words, stories and places - the characters and the action makes you want to be a part of the novel from the start. I was dissappointed to see how short this novel was and well didn't really found the ending, but that's novel for you!
