It was a good book, the heroine was a steadfast character in her determination to make change and fairness for the servants and people in the holdings of the castle. However, I did not like the "hero" -- Terran. He seemed a dense man, led by his evil cousin, waffling between rage and doubt versus clear thinking. I think I would have enjoyed the book more if he seemed someone with more strength and doing his own thinking. I wasn't that thrilled that the heroine, whom I really liked, had fallen in love with him. I just couldn't like him. Other than that, the plot was good, the story intriguing, and kept the reader engrossed and it moved along well.
