Extended description

His Mysterious Lady (A Regency Novelette)

Dressed as a maid, Lady Amelia Stratford sneaks out of her home to pay off her family’s blackmailer. After he delivers a crushing blow to her head, the situation takes a turn for the worse—she loses her memory.

Viscount Trenton’s attraction to the woman was immediate. Having been dragged to the Hell and Basket by a friend, he admits it wasn’t the best idea to visit the crumbling establishment. At least until a beautiful woman, dressed in the most unflattering black dress he had ever seen walked in.

After saving her from an abduction, Trenton takes the unconscious woman home, only to find out that she’s suffering from amnesia. As Amelia’s memories slowly begin to return, they discover a passionate love blossoming between them.

As the blackmailer plots against Amelia, Trenton must figure out who the man is and what he wants if Amelia is to be safe. Time is running out. Will Trenton be able to save Amelia before it’s too late?

The story was good but it could have gone into a bit more dept with the hero and heroine. Enjoyed reading it

This story had a good premise but the relationship between the hero and heroine seemed hurried and some plotting a bit rushed, as well.
