Following the death of his young wife, Devon has exiled himself to the lonely outrider’s cabin of his family’s ranch.

Instinctively, he shelters and protects her. Hides her away from the world. As the two of them observe and help each other in the day-to-day workings of a modern ranch, their regard grows.

This was a great book. I really enjoyed how the author developed the story. There was lots of mystery that kept you guessing until the climax of the story. There were some wonderful twists towards the end of the story that catch you off guard. What I really liked was the justice that the bad guys received at the end.
