It's 2010 and Brett's miserable with his married life to Dorin. He has numerous reocurring dreams where he ends up meeting and falling in love with beautiful Meredith in 1918. Then while on a business trip, Brett meets Corrie and becomes intrigued. After he spends time chasing after Corrie, he realizes she's the girl of his dreams. He believes Meredith is reincarnated as Corrie and they fall deeply in love. But he's still stuck in his miserable life with Dorin.
