This little story packed a great big punch. It sucked me in from the first paragraphs, and kept me reading straight through until the end. The heroine, Jasmine, is smart, brave and loyal, but she's in over her head until she meets a man with honor and the military training and experience to save their lives. Gabe is rugged, brave, honorable and deliciously sexy - the perfect combination. Add in action-packed adventure in exotic locations and you have a perfect hour long escape for this novella. In just 60 short pages I knew about Gabe's and Jasmine's families, their backgrounds, and had a real sense of their personalities. I've read full-length novels with less character development. The action is nonstop, the pace relentless, and I could not put this down.

A book with great potential that disappeared like candy-floss. Strong plot, well developed characters, then poof its over. too short for a short novel. Should be developed in to a full length novel.
