I didn’t know what to expect when I downloaded a free copy of Savvy Book Marketing Secrets by Dana Lynn Smith. I knew I needed some fresh ideas and a fresh perspective. I flipped through the compilation of articles and found several new and innovative ideas. As a novice in the area of book marketing, I found that the information contained in this book was well organized and written for a wide range of experience levels. I was able to quickly locate ideas and strategies that I had not considered or even known were possible. I appreciate the ideas shares by the many contributors, and I recommend this to anyone who is looking for some fresh marketing ideas.

This is a good primer for new authors, with information on everything from marketing to editing.
As the book is a compendium of articles, some bits are more in-depth than others. I would have liked to see more detail over-all, but it does the job.
