Extended description

Resurrection, NY is America’s only supernatural friendly town, built on an outfolded pocket of Faerie. Werewolf cop Adam Santini is sworn to protect and serve all of Resurrection’s races - including unsuspecting human Talents who wander in from Outside.

Ari stumbles into Adam’s town from the Big Apple. She’s hot on the trail of a mysterious crime boss who wants to exploit her telekinesis for his own evil ends. If she can’t get Henry Blackwater off her back, she and her two most trusted friends in the world had better kiss the decent life they’ve built for themselves goodbye.

Ari’s mission puts her on a collision course with the hottest cop in the RPD. Adam wants Blackwater too, but mostly he wants Ari. She seems to be the mate he’s been yearning for all his life, though getting a former street kid into bed with the Law could be his toughest case to date.

When biology knocks boots with justice, more than bad guys go up flames.

A really great paranormal romance with great plot, lovable characters, and hotness! This book reminded me how much I love Emma Holly's books, and I hope she keeps writing a lot more! I think she is one of the two best paranormal romance writers out there. I loved this book!

When you see Emma Holly's name as the author of a book you know it will be worth reading. As always this book didn't disappoint, enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more "Talent" stories. Emma has set up another well crafted "world". Well done and PLEASE keep writing.

This was a new venture from what I have experienced reading all of Emma Holly's previous writings and I LOVED IT! I want more of this "Talent" realm! Love the sexual tension and restraint in both main characters and really enjoyed this new storyline.

Reading this new story reminded me why I love her books so much! She has created a wonderful new off-kilter world where magic is real and the heroes are HOT! Unique & well developed story, one of the best I've read this year.

I enjoyed reading this book and hope there is a sequel or two. I have to agree with others that the book was a little short but maybe the next one will be longer.

Emma Holly has done it again! My only complaint is that the book was too short. I want a sequel soon please.
Emma Holly writes sizzling hot romance. With Hidden Talents we are introduced to Resurrection, NY America’s only supernatural friendly town and its werewolf police force. The characters were believable even if their world is different than ours.
Action, adventure, romance what more could you want except more.

This book is more erotic paranormal romance than urban fantasy. The world building is good and the characters are well drawn. I particularly liked the gargoyles and how they fit in.

All of her life telekinetic, Ari, felt like an outcast because of her gift. That is until she crosses into Resurrection, NY looking for a crime lord. Ari quickly learns that Resurrection is unlike any place she's ever been and that she is considered a Talent because of her ability; a powerful one at that. In Resurrection, the Chinese restaurants have gnomes hanging in the windows because they are a tasty treat, gargoyles fly overhead, demons can cross from other dimensions if someone is stupid enough to bring them over, and werewolves police the city.

Adam, is an alpha werewolf and police officer who finds Ari using her ability on a criminal. She is tiny, powerful and makes him feel things he never expected to feel in his life. He knows that he should turn her over but can't bring himself to do it.

I love the world that Emma Holly has created. Resurrection is an amazing place, the characters are intriguing, the chemistry between the hero and heroine is very intense, the storyline was moving, and as always with her writing, the sex was smokin hot. I could not put this book down and can't wait to see what happens next in Resurrection, NY.

If anyone had any doubts that Emma Holly is the queen, nay the empress of women’s erotica…….read this book.

Ari had two things in this world she cared about, Max and Sarah. Two friends who make up her family since they found each other on the streets on NYC. Now Henry Blackwater, aka the Eunuch, is threatening them as a means to get to her. After her fanatically religious parents kicked her out as a teen, Ari had to grow up quick. As an adult, nobody messes with her or hers. Ari has tracked the Eunuch to the town of Resurrection to end this once and for all.

Adam Santini took his job as alpha and police officer in Resurrection very seriously. When his team gets a call about unauthorized magic, he’s on it in a big way. Did I not mention that Resurrection is a hidden paranormal metropolis? Oooops. In a town of weres, gargoyles, elves, fairies and other assorted beings, unlicensed magic can cause a major disaster. When he comes upon Ari in an empty warehouse torturing one of the Eunuch’s known associates, it definitely is cause for alarm. Adam’s had a bead on Henry Blackwater for awhile, and Ari might just be the key to bringing him to justice.

This is such a fun read. Ultra sexy, ( I know, that’s a given ) humorous, full of wonderfully unique and diverse characters, poignant emotion, and a spellbinding story. If you haven’t taken a dip in the Emma Holly pool, this is where you should get your feet wet. This is a milder, more mainstream version of Emma. Straight heterosexual couples erotica, although there is a gay cousin. Still a very hot read that loses nothing for the absence. If you need something to warm up the engine, or are just looking for a great story, Hidden Talents will fit the bill very nicely.

Emma Emma Emma, I have been reading your books forever (thank you for Strange Attractions making me want to write erotica!) and this was no different. There was a slightly different tone, but that is only because I've been hooking on the Upyr Midnight series :) Great story!!!!
