Legacy of an Ex-Slave, in Poetry, The Arts of Screaming

It is extremely difficult to open a discussion on race, even today in America, with the election of an Afro-American President. I cannot and thus, will not try. However, through my poetry here in Legacy of an Ex-slave, I will express my views on matters of race.
Slavery is a topic that is difficult to talk about, but out of the due respect for those for who were enslaved, we must!

Jeffrey V. Perry, Writer, Poet, and Author
Jeffrey is a fifty-four (54) years old, Afro-American male, born in North Carolina in 1955. He has had several creative writing classes over the years, and understands the academics of literature. He attended Dartmouth College, undergraduate, and holds a Master of Science in Management.
