This was a good book. It was different following along with several mini stories in one, but it still allowed you to follow the characters from the previous story.

I don't know that it is about "highlander's" but they have always turned by crank. I loved that the author put more than one story into this book and that the character were able to be followed in a "series" rather than completely changing characters on us in the middle. The stories were coherent and the plots all had a good hooks, my only complaint was that the stories themselves seemed lacking. It sort of left a weird after taste to read a "romance" story that didn't have any intimate scenes between the main characters. I feel that sex scenes are expected in romance stories, and while they in no way need to be graphic, these scenes are instrumental in helping the story along and expanding on the connection between the main characters.

I LOVE this book! I went on to purchase all of the books in this series and not one disappointed me. They are heartwarming, wonderful books and keepers, each and every one. I love Highlander books and personally own hundreds of that genre. These rate right up at the top of my Highlander books. Warning: be prepared for some late nights because you will not want to put this and the other books in this series down!
