Short description

Women think Detective Lou Bellua is perfect, but he has one flaw; he isn’t human. When Lou meets crime tech, Dianna Duvonay, he knows she has been marked for death, and she's the mate his Lycan heart has waited a lifetime to find. They are instinctively drawn to each other, but Lou has an issue with his anatomy that could make sex as dangerous for Dianna as the evil that is now in hot pursuit.

Extended description

There is a hot new detective working the beat in the chilly state of Maine. Women think he’s perfect, but he does have one flaw—he isn’t human.

When Lou Bellua transfers to the Maine State Police, he isn’t doing it for the pay. In fact, the job is a demotion from his current position, but he has little choice. Instincts have led him here. Someone in Maine will require his special brand of protection. Someone is being hunted by evil.

When he meets crime technician, Dianna Duvonay, he knows two things: she is the one marked for death, and she is the mate his Lycan heart has waited a lifetime to find.

Besides being irresistible to both his human and werewolf libidos, he discovers that she is highly intelligent and is figuring out that he, though a stunning specimen of manhood, isn’t all man. He has never told a human his secret and is sure he’ll blow his chance of having her as his mate when she knows. To make matters worse, Lou has an unusual issue with his anato.. (Read more)

I like this story very much, so you can imagine that I am rather pleased that it is now available in print format via Amazon. I find print books easier on the eyes, but that's just me. And you don't have to be worried about breaking them if you happen to drop them, if you're just a bit clumsy as I am. ;)

There is so many free reads online that I almost never buy, but after reading "The Ride", I went straight for this one without hesitation. It's the best 99 cents I've ever spent.
I've got you down on my new favorite authors list. "Best Night Ever I and II" were also great reads. I can't wait for whats next.

Ate it up! Planned to read a few pages but got sucked in until I finshed it up at 11pm. Keara you maybe an unknown right now but I don't think you'll stay that way for long. I've been paying full price at the bookstore for stuff half this good. Wasn't only erotic but also a carefully crafted plot and had me on the edge of my seat by the end. Looking for this in print to add to my bookshelf. Hope to see the sequel SOON. Reading your free story THE RIDE next. Keep writing!!!
